ACME Solar locked a tariff of INR 6 ($0.063)/kWh with Solar Energy Corporation of India. The developer secured the capacity under SECI's firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) IX tranche.
The PPA covers 300 MW/1,200 MWh of assured peak power supply from interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected renewable energy projects. ACME Solar signed through its subsidiary ACME Greentech Twenty Pvt Ltd.
The FDRE project will supply 4 MWh/MW of contracted capacity for any four hours daily during non-solar hours. It must maintain a minimum availability of 90% on a monthly basis.
ACME Solar's under-construction portfolio with signed PPAs now stands at 4,310 MW.
