Digi Power X has secured a $200 million commitment in debt financing for its data center project in Alabama. The funding has been syndicated by Goldman Sachs and is being provided by an unnamed "major lending institution."
Digi Power X will use the financing to support the development of its 40MW data center project in Columbiana, Alabama. The data center is being developed in two phases: phase one with 15MW of IT load, and phase two to deliver 25MW incrementally for a total IT capacity of 40MW.
The phases will be delivered by the end of 2026 and the end of Q1, 2027, respectively. Wafer-scale chip company and cloud provider Cerebras signed on for the full capacity at the site in May of this year.
At the time of writing, Digi Power X holds approximately $135 million in cash and has invested approximately $153 million in capital expenditures in 2026.
